Once I understood what and how RSS and newsreaders work, I discovered that it makes my experience on the web much more convenient. I have heard of MERLIN, but have never visited the actual site. I have added it to my list on Bloglines. Played with the Meez site, it can be addictive. No access was available to Feedster and Syndic8.com. I did not like searching on Topix.net because I felt it was too overwhelming and busy. I selected Technorati as the best search tool for adding newsfeeds because it was organized to search based on topic lists (which as a librarian I greatly appreciate). I added 5 Minutes for Mom (does not have an RSS) so the link is added to my Blog Dashboard.
